Ventus gave Aqua and apologetic look and set off back through the castle to the Gates. Aqua called him back but he didn't listen. He couldn't go home yet. He hadn't found Terra! And he needed to find him before it was too late. Maleficent had said he had taken Aurora's heart and the Masked Boy had said he was changing too. Was Terra really turning into a different person? And was it happening, even now, while he thought about it?
He had to find out. He had to know the truth, and the only way he was going to do that was to find Terra.
"Terra, where are you?" He muttered to himself as he ran through the Gates into the open. Summoning his Glider, he left this world hoping his friend would be on the next one. But even if he wasn't, Ventus would continue to look until he found him. Because that's what friends did.
