[ Personality ] :

Ventus is the youngest of the three main characters and his original group of friends but he doesn't let it bother him. Instead he learns from Terra and Aqua and even goes as far as looking up to Terra like an older brother. He does show his youth in several scenes such as when Scrooge McDuck tells him to take two grown-ups to Disney Town and he gives the tickets to Terra and Aqua. Not long after that, he is told to go home by both of his friends and he pouts and doesn't understand they're just trying to protect him from harm. Instead of going home as told, he continues to search for them and others for his friendship until the end which could a willingness to prove he is not a kid as he appears to be.

Throughout the game, Ventus is shown to have remarkable courage despite the odds, loyalty to both friends and strangers and curiosity which should get him in trouble. He is seen protecting Jaq from Lucifer when he was no larger than the mouse, helping Snow White through the woods after only just meeting her and fighting off the Unversed for Ienzo even though he hadn't seen the boy before. He doesn't mind putting himself in danger for others, especially Terra and Aqua and will do so even if he knows the risk is losing his own heart.

To Ventus, friendship is the most important thing. It's what gives him his power and his friends' power comes from him. It's his friendship with Terra and Aqua which makes me fight Vanitas in the end and let him forge the χ-blade with his heart. This bravery and selflessness is his greatest strength and his greatest weakness.

[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :

Ventus's bravery and selflessness is his greatest strength and his greatest weakness but so it his trusting nature. Not only will he protect both friends and strangers alike at cost to his own life, he will trust those he meets almost instantly.

His friendship and loyalty is another main strength because he believes his power comes from his friends and their power comes from him. Once he meets Lea and Isa, he starts learning about the meaning of friendship from others and sets out to meet more people and gain more friends to increase the power in his heart.

Among his trusting nature, his defenses are a weakness. He has the lowest health of the main characters and can be overwhelmed by any negative feelings his pure heart cannot handle. Anger, confusion and misunderstanding are all traits taken from him through Vanitas and thus make his head ache or even collapse completely.

[ Other Important Facts ] :

Due to the fact that Ventus is only part way through the story, he does not have all the items he would have before he final battle with Vanitas. His keyblade is one example. But the magic and attack commands could still all be used if needed as they can be created through melding. A list can be provided if needed.

[ Sample ] :

Ventus sat in the Radiant Garden after Lea and Isa had left and thought about the road ahead. Perhaps he didn't need to follow the road Terra and Aqua had taken. He'd always be there for them if they needed him but for now, he'd go his own way.

He wanted to learn about friendship, make new friends and know how those friends valued the concept and his own friendship with them. Standing up, he took out Terra's wooden Keyblade and grinned. He'd meet up with them some point down the line, but for now, this was his own path.

He summoned his Keyblade Glider and smiled, this was going to one fun story to tell when he did finally meet up with Terra and Aqua, and he couldn't wait to create it.

Ventus awake on a hard surface he didn't remember falling asleep on. The second thing he noticed was how wet he was. Soaking wet. From his hair to his shoes. Sitting up, he looked around and saw a fairy. Or rather, a green ball of light the same colour as his Wayfinder. He moved to find the charm but noticed something on his arm. A mark. He tried to rub it off but it was stuck. This was new. Or was it just Vanitas way of tracking his movements.

He finally found the Wayfinder and stood up to look around. He didn't recognise where he was. Summoning the Keyblade, just to make sure he could, he gripped the Wayfinder in his other hand and called out.

"Hello. Is anyone there? My name is Ventus and I think I'm a little lost."
